This year’s music camp will be Monday, August 18 to Friday, August 21 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Everyone is invited from children to seniors. Come together and learn to worship with instruments, song and/or dance.

The 2008 Southern California All-Church Camp, hosted by San Diego Japanese Christian Church, will be from Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5 at the Pine Valley Bible Conference Center. This year’s guest speaker will be Pastor Cory Ishida of Evergreen SGV.
Registration forms are available online, in the office and at the pretzel kiosk. Forms are due August 31, 2008.

West Covina Christian Church will have a pictorial directory this year. Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 22. Sign ups for appointments will begin Sunday, September 14 at church.

General Conference
The General Conference will be held this week at USC. Please keep delegates Norm Ong, Caren Ong and Chris Feierbach in your prayers, as well as our West Los Angeles church, who is organizing this year’s meeting.
Ecuador Missions Team
Saturday morning, WCCC will send off its first missions team to Ecuador. Pray for team members Team Leader and Deacon Glen Waki, Pastor Rick Iwanaga, Deacon Arleen Koshimizu, KWP Leader Jane Sattari and KWP staff members Tisha Waki and Cameron Iwanaga.
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
Sermon videos will be available starting this Sunday with Chris Feierbach’s June 8 message. Sermons will be available through our new Video Podcast on Apple’s iTunes and a new media player to be introduced today.
The Young Marrieds/Young Fellowship group will meet Saturday, June 28, 2008. The group will meet at Anjo’s restaurant at 5:00 PM. Babysitting is provided and parents should drop their children off at church ahead of time. The group will return to church around 6:00 for dessert and game night (ping pong, foosball, and a Wii!) in the youth room.
